I hail from Chicago, Illinois. During my upbringing in the southern suburbs of Harvey, I was significantly inspired by the captivating sounds of renowned deejays like Terry Hunter and Mike Dunn. My musical foundation is deeply embedded in the essence of R&B music.
Throughout my college years, I earned the nickname "The House Maniac" because of my dynamic dancing skills in response to house music. My dancing talent led to an appearance in a BET commercial filmed at Kamikaze Nightclub in Raleigh, as well as a role as a dancer for a local dance show on Channel 40, recorded at New Bar Nightclub in Raleigh. Additionally, I performed as the opening dance act for Public Enemy at Cat's Cradle in Chapel Hill. I also served as the choreographer for the "Get Involved" music video produced by the communication department of St. Augustine's University. In 1995, I embarked on my professional deejay career, adopting the nickname "House."
